Rugby Photographs

Hello, my name is Priscila.
My idea is to tell you how is a usual match day in "Miramar Rugby Club".
I get up at 10 am and then I go to the match at 1pm.

It is important that they know that camera to use. I have a Nikon Coolpix B500. It has a 40X lens that is used to take photos with a lot of zoom. I'm clearly a rookie and my camera is not the best for sports. If you can get a better camera it would be great.

¿How to take photos?

Usually, I use the corners of the field, because there is where they score the tries.
I change my position a little but walking... I don't run to the players.
I have somes techniques, for example:
  • The spend has to be between 1/250 and 1/500.
  • The ISO is also super important, always depends on the weather.
  • The opening, just enter the light you need.
  • White balance, also depends on the weather.
  • I usually used burst shooting mode.
I use my hands to have the camera still. I don't have a tripod.
With a good camera it is easy to keep focus.

There are other photographers but I think we all take pictures to have fun.
Finally, I go to my house to edit the photos which I share in my instagram account.

I leave some fotos here:

Who said rugby is only for men?

Well, I hope you like it and served you.
